Offered in these travelogues are information, tips, and advice to help in planning your trip, holiday or vacation to'a variety of countries around the world. Two of our most recent trips, one to Egypt and one to Botswana and Zambia, Africa are very timely. But we also have a lot of useful information on Vietnam, Nepal, Bhutan, Japan, Asia, Bali, Great Barrier Reef, Beijing, and many other international destinations. Each travelogue offers a variety of information about what you can expect when you travel to these destinations. But you need to understand what these travelogues offer as well as what you won't see in them.

First, we make no claim to providing the type of information you will find in a good travel guide; what hotels are available, where to eat, what is the history of the place and so on. There are many good travel books and it would be a waste of time to try to duplicate what they have done. What we will provide is a lot of personal experiences about traveling to the location in question that you don't usually find in travel books; what was it like to drive there, what were the people like, what was the local food really like, and so on. Our travelogues are best read when you are deciding whether or not to visit a particular place. Read our account and if it looks like a trip you'd like, then get hold of the travel books to plan your trip in detail. Indeed, you would be doing yourself a great disservice not to read several travel books before going on a trip. Planning your trip should then prove to be a truly rewarding experience. We would also encourage you to check out our travel planning section for general information about travel, things that we have learned over the last 25 years of travel.
