Warning Description: Fire Weather Watch

Warning Date: 3:10 PM PDT on May 19, 2012

WarningSum:...Fire Weather Watch In Effect From Monday Afternoon Through
Monday Evening For Gusty Wind And Low Humidity For Portions Of
Western Nevada And Extreme Eastern California...

Warning Message:The National Weather Service in Reno has issued a Fire Weather
Watch for gusty wind and low humidity...which is in effect from
Monday afternoon through Monday evening.
* Affected area...fire zone 273 Mono-eastern alpine counties... 
  fire zone 450 western Nevada Sierra front and fire zone 453 
  west central Nevada basin and range.
* Winds...southwest winds will increase by early afternoon. Speeds
  of 15-25 mph with gusts to 35 mph are possible in the afternoon
  and evening. Locally higher gusts of 40-45 mph along the western
  Nevada Sierra front are possible.
* Humidity...falling to 8-15% for the afternoon and early evening.
* Impacts...the combination of gusty winds and low humidity may create
  critical fire weather conditions.
