Well, here are the baby pictures and answers to some of your questions. Yes, we agree it does seem as though we are insane getting two puppies given our hectic life. But, we've had Siamese cats nearly all of our lives and Katherine was missing having something warm and cuddly in her lap and I was definitely not under consideration. Also, we have talked about dogs for years so figured that this was the time. Katherine actually fell in love with the breed when she saw one in Tokyo. The clincher was that they are small and obedient so most suitable for city living. So, we are now the proud parents of two Papillons.

Papillon means butterfly and as you can see from the pictures of Maggie, they get the name from the ears. Maggie, for Margaret Thatcher, is 10 months old, a tricolor and a dainty, prissy missy. She is pretty much full grown although her coat hasn't filled out completely yet. Winston, for Winston Churchill, is four months old, a sable color and all boy. Wow is he ever a boy, play, play, play. When full grown he will be slightly bigger than Maggie and his short puppy fur will be longish and silky like hers.

Other than the typical problems of house-breaking them, they are truly a delight and love to cuddle.
